Now in its fourth generation, the company has grown from producing monuments to processing natural stone for many applications including interior and exterior building elements. The traditional skills of cutting and shaping stone have evolved into sophisticated CNC machining processes to realise any design. The factory is equipped with the latest in stone cutting and polishing technology operated by highly skilled masons, to ensure the finished product is of the highest quality.

The range of colours available worldwide is vast and this is reflected in our huge stock standing in our yard. Our stock is continually updated to ensure we always have the most popular colours at your disposal, when you need it, thus reducing unnecessary time delays.

Our limestone quarry, in Ross, Co. Meath, is now supplying stone for all architectural items. The stone from this quarry is an excellent limestone for all architectural applications. Indeed, Ross limestone can be seen in many landmark buildings from cathedrals, churches, banks and bridges that were constructed in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. This makes it the ideal choice for restoration and conservation projects. Its soft grey and tan colouring will sit easily with these old buildings and its ability to be cut and shaped gives it endless possibilities.

For house builders, the Ross limestone is ideal for split face walling, window cills, quoin stones, arches and all other architectural elements. We have a large quantity of split stone, in heavy duty bags, always in stock.

At James Gogarty Stone, choosing a monument is handled in a sensitive and sympathetic manner. You can choose from a large selection of designs, in the colour of your choice. Hand carved Celtic crosses are never out of place in an Irish cemetery, and these are made to order by our skilled stone cutters using traditional methods that have been handed down through time. Monuments can also be made to your own unique design and our designers are always on hand to advise and guide you with your design.

Through constant innovation and investment, James Gogarty Stone will continue to provide a complete service in stone for generations to come.
